Christian outreach

Jabori Foundation is a Christ-centred Christian charity seeking to demonstrate God's love by serving practically within the communities of Njoro, Kenya. Through our faith-based holistic approach, we blend physical, social, economic and spiritual care together to help families provide the safe, stable and loving homes children need to reach their God given potential. Jesus' life and teachings guide all aspects of our ministry and we seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the children, families and community.
Our support meetings are deeply rooted in Christian values, ensuring that discussions are guided by faith-based principles and scripture. We use various Christian resources to ensure that our conversations are focused and aligned with our faith and this approach fosters a supportive environment that encourages personal development and spiritual growth among participants, helping them navigate their challenges with faith in Jesus Christ at the core.

Holiday Club
Our Holiday Bible Club welcomes children aged 4 to 16 from Tuesday to Friday during school holidays, offering a platform to introduce them to Jesus through engaging bible lessons, games, songs, worksheets, and discussions.
A significant aspect of the club is the daily meal we provide, which is especially vital for many children who may rely on this as their only substantial meal during the day when they are not in school accessing their school feeding programme.
The Holiday Bible Club also plays a crucial role in keeping children off the streets, where they are often vulnerable to abuse, negative influences, and engaging in harmful habits such as drug use or crime. By offering a safe and supportive environment, we help children build healthy relationships with their peers and mentors, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
We encourage caregivers to be involved too, especially during our final day when they are invited to witness the fruits of their children's learning. This special event features presentations by the children showcasing what they have learned, followed by a gospel message that emphasises the love of Jesus. Families then gather to share a meal together, creating an atmosphere of fellowship and unity.
The Holiday Club also gives us opportunity to identify families needing additional support, reinforcing our outreach and commitment to those in need. It is our hope and prayer that through this club, we can continue to inspire children, nurture their spiritual growth, and see God’s kingdom grow.
Saturday Club
Our Saturday Club is designed to address the unique challenges faced by young males in society whilst providing them with a safe environment within which they can learn practical skills and have fun.
Over 10 sessions, 12 boys, referred by their school or from families we are working with, engage in, learning new practical skills, cooking, playing games and group discussions. Our aim is to keep them off the streets and immerse them in meaningful experiences that foster personal growth and spiritual development.
This program emphasises the importance of male mentorship in shaping identity during formative years and aims to redefine masculinity positively and encourage young males to embrace emotional intelligence while developing healthy relationships with peers and family members.
Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ is central to this club and staff lead the boys through the CY Christianity Explored course. This course is thoughtfully designed to help the boys explore who Jesus is, what He came to do, and how they can actively respond to His call in their lives.
As a grand finale, we culminate our 10-week journey with an exciting swimming trip! The day is not only a celebration of their work and dedication but also an opportunity to bond and create lasting memories together.

Men's TABLE TALK
The weekly Men's Table Talk meeting is open to all men and is an opportunity for them to come together and enjoy fellowship, engaging discussions and bible study.
By creating a safe and supportive environment, men can share their struggles and discuss issues related to marriage, parenting, addiction, work and family life. Together they explore scripture and draw on God's word for guidance and encouragement. This helps the men to grow spiritually, build strong relationships, and encourages men to fulfil their roles in accordance with God's will.
Bible study
Our weekly Bible Study is open to all people, regardless of their background or prior knowledge of the Bible. It provides a welcoming environment for those exploring faith and for believers to get to know God more deeply through His Word, helping them to understand His character, attributes and purpose for their lives.
Bible studies are essential for spiritual growth and in the midst of life's difficulties, the Bible provides comfort, strength and hope through stories of faith and God's promises.
